		<title>Wild Half &#8211; Training Week 1</title>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.moreyspiers.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/MarathonLogo.gif"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-5296" src="http://www.moreyspiers.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/MarathonLogo-300x169.gif" alt="" width="300" height="169" /></a>So, I did it, completed week one of training for the <a href="http://www.moreyspiers.com/s4/165/index.php">Wild Half Marathon</a>. 9.5 miles of running over the course of the last 7 days&#8230;I&#8217;ve never ran so much in one week ever! My longest run this week was three miles. Some days were better than others. My training schedule says, &#8220;go for an easy 2 mile run.&#8221; Guess what? A 2 mile run is still not easy for me! My average pace has improved to 10:47 min/mi so that is a positive in week one.</p>
<p>I still can&#8217;t fathom running for 13.1 miles but I signed up for this so it will happen! I need some new tunes to run to though because I&#8217;m getting painfully bored! Tell me what you are running to and I will add it to my play list and include all the songs in next week&#8217;s blog. My favorite song on my list is Feelin&#8217; So Good (Remix) by Jennifer Lopez, that&#8217;s always my last half mile song!</p>
<p>Anyone want to join Team Morey? I&#8217;m going to supply shirts for everyone who joins me!</p>
