3 in You Win!

I’ve never won anything, but sometimes I like to play the games anyway. Ring Toss, Blockbuster, Quarter Pitch… there are a lot of options to get your game on at Morey’s Piers. And the prizes for those that do win can be impressive! On Tuesday August 16th, Nick Arlotta from Montville, NJ played the basketball game near the Giant Wheel. After shooting 4 rounds he ended up scoring 3 shots in a row and winning an iPad.

I asked Nick about this amazing win and here’s what he had to say.

Did you use a strategy to win or do you think it was purely luck?
Well, I was trying to bank the ball in, but after I missed about 15 or 20 in a row, I walked away and went on some rides. I came back and just tried to swish the ball instead and it worked.
Do you have tips for the game?
Don’t give up.
What was your reaction when you sank that third shot?
Oh wow, I just won an iPad!
Do you have any plans to become a pro basketball player?
No, I don’t even play basketball. I play hockey.
Anything you want to add about the experience?
It’s a great game to play.

Congratulations, Nick! We hope you’re enjoying your new iPad and come back to visit us again soon!

Thats great ... The balls are usually over inflated and the rims are not round. To get 3 in a row is amazing.
