It’s not enough to decide we want a new ride. We have to decide where it will fit in our limited space. We have to figure out how many tickets are required to ride. Right now, we need to decide what colors the RipTide would like to be.

Picking out colors with Jack Morey looks a little something like this:


And without fail, he always wants to use ALL the colors. Thankfully, Tim and I are paddling this boat (pun most definitely intended)! We just received a package containing sample color plates for RipTide, which is a new version of the classic Sea Dragon ride themed as a Wildwood lifeguard boat complete with Sunny C. Gull himself looking out for stormy seas! Now we’re busy trying to choose the colors for the boat, trim, seats, sweeps, support beams, etc… and most importantly, making sure all those colors look good together.

Why not keep it looking like it’s inspiration, a lifeguard boat?  White with blue trim would look clean and you could change the color of the boat anytime by adding colored lights.

actually, im liking the boots the chick is wearing…id say use a little bit of every color sample you have. make it stand out more than the sea dragon did…as long as the mast doesnt come down, I think it’ll be great. Can’t wait to see it glimmer in the sunshine and glow in the nighttime….BRING ON SUMMER!!!

I think it should be the same colors as the beach balls and wildwood sign as you come in town. Keep it with the Doo Wop Theme!!!!

I would like Light Blue….to match the sky…..Yellow for our Sunrises….and Red for our Sunsets….Whatever you pick will be perfect, I am sure….Can’t wait!  Love the lights on the ferris wheel…...Thanks for the previews.

Definitely love the colors there! Would like to see a deep purple thrown in to resemble the colors of the sunset over the wild woods beaches!
