This isn’t part of Dino’s series of “What do we do in the winter”, but it is part of what the Group Services Department does in the winter. Every November members of our department attend the NJEA Conference at the Atlantic City Convention Center to begin what we like to call our trade-show season. Why are we rubbing elbows with New Jersey’s teachers, you ask? To tell them about Education Extravaganza, Class Trips and our School Fundraiser Program of course! This is just a start to the many trade-shows we go to all winter as well as visiting our many different clients. Where else do we plan to go this winter so far?
- National Soccer Convention – Baltimore, MD - For our Beach Blast Sand Soccer Tournament
- National Lacrosse Convention – Baltimore, MD – For our Beach Lacrosse Tournament
- Tri-State Camp Conference – Atlantic City, NJ
- AAA Shows
- Military Shows
- Park & Rec Shows
- Scout Councils from Rhode Island to Maryland and everything in between to drop off brochures for our Scouting Events
In our department it takes all winter to put together and plan out every detail of our programs/events and sell them before the summer season gets going. So when summer sneaks up on us, as it usually does, we can execute everything we planned (and that’s when you see us running around on the piers and in the picnic area).
See you on the piers!
