Raging Waters Update…Interesting Developments!

I took a walk through Raging Waters Waterpark today while Jack Morey was on his lunch break and there is definitely something going on.  From what it looks like, there is major demolition work taking place in and around the Lazy River.  Some areas look like a wrecking ball hit it!

As I ventured toward the beach, I came upon some heavy machinery going in and out of the river from what appears to be a makeshift ramp to the beach.  I was able to take some photos before Jack returned from lunch.  If I see any further developments, I will be sure to post.  Stay tuned!

Being a huge fan of the Water Parks, I was really curious as to what was going on. Searching the areas on the site, I may have spotted a hint at what may or may not be coming… Maybe you should see the faces behind the blogs!

I too liked the lazy river but it seemed too narrow when it was busy, people kept bumping into you.  Maybe they will widen it or rebuild it with better filters, seemed to be a lot of hair and stuff on the bottom.

How can the Lazy River ever get old??  It can’t.  Adults love it especially as they can take a break climbing all of those stairs to ride the water slides. Now THAT’S what Morey’s should do… be innovative and construct something that lifts people to the tops of the slides so that we don’t have to walk all of those steps. Sets off my asphma each time.

Just one more way the Morey Organization looks out for consumers.  Everything is always clean, working, and current.  Yes, Raging Waters is popular but 10 years means it’s time for a change.  Can’t wait to see what’s new.
