[RECIPE] Tuscan Spiced Warm Goat Cheese Log by Chef Wally

From Chef Wally's kitchen to yours: a simple, but delicious recipe his family does all year long; especially during the Holidays. It is so easy to do. Almost every supermarket carries a decent goat cheese.

Tuscan Spiced Warm Goat Cheese Log

4oz.                 Goat Cheese Log or Button
2Tbsp             Chef Walter J’s Tuscan Spice Blend (or you favorite Italian style spice blend)
1Tbsp             Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Method:

1)      Roll goat cheese in Tuscan Spice to coat completely.
2)      Preheat oven to 350℉. Place log in an oven proof container in oven for 5-8 minutes. Remove from oven & put on a trivet.
3)      Pour EVOO over warm spiced log. Serve goat cheese with crackers, pita, crusty bread or other accompaniments: fresh vegetables, roasted peppers, olives, cured meats, etc.

What’s wrong with that picture? Eating ice cream at Morey’s at no one is holding one of those awesome Rice Creams ice cream sandwiches? Blasphemy!
