What’s new at Wreckers Beach Grill? Located oceanfront inside Raging Waters waterpark, Wreckers is serving up some new dishes for the 2011 summer season.
New items include a Mediterranean Salad with goat cheese, mixed greens, romaine hearts, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, sliced red onions and kalamata olives all served with fried pita chips and balsamic dressing.
For wraps, a new Grilled Chicken and Hummus will debut with homemade hummus, tzatziki sauce (yes, the gyro sauce), cucumbers and tomatoes served with a bag of Stacy’s Pita Chips.
Pizza is back and is now served on a 10 inch round crust with cheese, pepperoni or grilled chicken for toppings.
Two new sandwiches are also available, including a grilled Veggie Burger served with provolone cheese, caramelized onions and roasted red peppers. The Grilled Chicken BLT has provolone cheese, crisp bacon, lettuce and tomato served on a new Harvest Artisan Bread roll.
If you love ice cream, as some of our fellow bloggers do, direct from Europe is the Magnum Double Caramel Ice Cream Bar. Vanilla bean ice cream dipped in chocolately coating, caramel sauce, and Belgium milk chocolate is sure to be a hit, along with the 15 inch Giant Frrezer-Pops.
