Ok. So I've been slacking with the writing but not the running. I am up to 8 miles! Which is good since we are exactly 50 days away from race day. Not only am I certain I am going to finish, but I don't think I will be last either! Here's a recap of the last two weeks since my last blog. I had BAD days and GOOD days. It's been hot and I'm sweating in all kinds of new places. I'm getting blisters all over my feet on the longer runs. My hips are sore and I started doing cross training on the beach which makes me even more sore…so that's the bad. Here's the good, I love running long distances to my surprise! I feel completely accomplished after every run and it's a great way to relieve the stress that summer brings. Training for the Wild Half has been a great and horrible and I wouldn't change a thing!
