Chuthakorn (Champ) Chartthai


Chuthakorn (Champ) Chartthai has been an exemplary Associate at Morey’s Mariner’s Landing Pier since he arrived from Thailand to work as a Ride Operator of the Kite Flyer.  His infectious smile is ever present the entire time he is operating the ride, and he is always courteous and kind to everyone he meets.  Champ has received numerous recognitions and awards for his outstanding performance over the short time he has been with us. He is always willing to help wherever needed, and is consistently friendly and efficient at his ride. Champ is a dedicated team player, model Associate and an asset to our organization.

Ramond Segarra

Ramond Segarra  has been with our company for the last four seasons. He travels from Puerto Rico to work for Morey’s Piers every summer.  For the last three seasons, Raymond has done a great job as part of the Park Services Team.  This season he is also working in our Wardrobe Department.  When asked why he likes working at Morey’s Piers, he replied that he loves to interact with all of the Associates from different cultures that come to work with us each season.  He also loves to be outdoors so working at an amusement park fits him perfectly.  Raymond has done an amazing job for the last 4 years. Thank you for continuing to return year after year and keep up the great work!

Patrycja Henofer

Patrycja Henofer started working for Morey’s Piers in June 2005.  She is from Poland and through the Work and Travel Program she became a ride operator on Surfside Pier.   Her first ride was the Baby Venice.  She returned again in the Summer of 2006 and took on the role of Wardrobe Attendant.  That summer she found true love with Park Services Manager Tom Henofer and they were married on the Giant Wheel.   During the summer of 2007 she added to her duties and became Mariner’s Landing Administrative Assistant.  One of her favorite rides is the Great Nor’Easter. She loves meeting new people from all over the world.  Her drive to finish every task she is assigned and her enthusiasm to help everyone around her makes her a great asset to Morey’s Piers, and an Amazing Associate!

Kayla Long

Kayla Long loves working with people and enjoys the Associates she works with year after year. Kayla joined Morey’s Piers in March of 2000 as a Ride Operator on Mariner’s Landing, transferring to Adventure Pier shortly thereafter. She is now one of the few members of the Operations Team who is able to operate and train on all the rides on Adventure Pier. Kayla enjoys every aspect of her job, especially working on the Grand Prix and the Great White. In 2008, she was promoted to an Operations Supervisor position and has been enjoying the varied work that comes with the job. When asked why she likes working at Morey’s Piers, Kayla responded, “I enjoy working here because of the diversity of the Associates that I get to work with and I like being on a Team that strives to provide our Guests with the highest level of Safety, Service, Friendliness and Cleanliness every day.” Thanks for everything Kayla!

James Sayles

James Sayles has been vacationing in the Wildwoods for the past 15 years.  He retired two years ago and now enjoys passing the time with his favorite hobby - fishing.  In 2008, James joined the Morey's Piers Operations Team as a ride operator for the Kiddie Swings and Airplanes.  He enjoys meeting new people and seeing children smile and laugh as they enjoy the rides.  He does an outstanding job and is truly an Amazing Associate.

James Spagnoli

Originally from Bloomfield, NJ now living in Forked River, NJ, James Spagnoli started working for Morey's Piers during the 1998 season as the pier EMT on Mariner's Landing.  After spending multiple years working as an EMT in Northern New Jersey, James returned to Morey's Piers in 2006 as an EMT on Adventure Pier and Surfside Pier.  James has been coming back to Morey's Piers ever since.  He loves the friendly work environment, working outdoors and helping others.  James has taken on multiple duties within the Operations Department including auditing, ride operator, cleaning and assisting the Operations Management Team with anything that needs to be done.  James is very friendly towards everyone he comes into contact with and is always looking for a way to put a smile on their faces.  This makes James an Amazing Associate.

Carmen Rodriguez

Traveling from Puerto Rico, Carmen Rodriguez joined the Park Services team at Morey's Piers in June of 2007. The excitement of the job has brought Carmen back to Morey's Piers for another season, where she enjoys meeting individuals from around the world. Over the past season, she was consistently recognized for her diligence in keeping her areas of responsibility neat, clean, and orderly. We are extremely proud of the spotless restrooms we provide for our Guests, and Carmen is the main reason for their impeccable condition. Our Guests often tell us that we have the cleanest public restrooms they have ever seen - anywhere. Thanks Carmen! You are truly an Amazing Associate!

Nancy Burrows

Nancy Burrows loves working with people, and since March of 2003, she has returned each season to do another thing she loves: operating the Rides at Morey’s Piers. Though she has been certified to operate most of the rides on Mariner’s Landing, Rollie’s Coaster is Nancy’s favorite. She is a dependable, honest team player that is always willing to lend a hand. For these reasons, Nancy has earned the recognition of her peers as well as management as an Amazing Associate.

Anthony Canzano

Anthony Canzano started working at Morey's Piers in 1996 at the age of 16.  The first ride he worked was the Giant Slide.  Since then, Anthony has had many roles within the company, including Maintenance Support Staff, Operations Supervisor, Facilities Painter, and his current role, AV Technician and Dark Ride Specialist.  Anthony has become an important asset to the company, using his varied experiences, thoughtful insight, dedication to the company, and outstanding work ethic to help Morey's Piers attain its goals in many areas of our operation.  That makes Anthony an Amazing Associate!

Nicole Johnson

Nicole Johnson started working at Morey's Piers in May 2000 as a Kiddie Boats ride operator.  Over the past seven seasons, Nicole has been promoted four times (currently a Senior Supervisor) and is the only supervisor certified to operate and train on all rides on Mariner's Landing. She loves and cares for all of our Associates and will help them in any way she can.  She is an outstanding trainer, leader, and role model for all those with which she comes in contact.  Nicole's dedication to her job, our Associates, and our Guests makes her an invaluable asset to the Morey Organization.

Al Douglas

Al Douglas came to work at Morey's Piers in 1995, where he worked the Kiddie Swings for 5 years.  Since then, Al has worked rides like the Elephants (which is still his favorite) the Convoy, and he can now be seen serving our Guests with a smile at the Tea Cups.  Al enjoys his job because of the fun he has meeting people on the job.  Al's consistent dependability, "can do" team spirit, along with his outstanding commitment to Guest Service as shown by his numerous by Guest compliments, makes Al an Amazing Associate!

Joe Pabon

Since the Summer of 2003, Joey Pabon has exceeded guest expectations time and time again. Starting as a ride operator at the Kite Flyer, Joey soon moved on to bigger and better things as the Team Leader of Rollie's Coaster. While Rollie's Coaster is currently his favorite ride, he says the Kite Flyer will always hold a special place in his heart. Thanks for a job well done, Joey!

Leo Mullen

Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Leo moved to Wildwood in 1993 after his retirement from Pepsi Cola where he worked 43 years. In 1995, just looking for something to do, Leo was hired as a ride operator for Morey's Piers.  Leo has now spent the last 12seasons with the company.  Leo says the best part of the job is playing with the kids because they are so  fun and surprising.  The Sky Ships are Leo's favorite ride to work since they provide the best opportunity for Guest interaction.  Leo's dedication and commitment to providing outstanding Guest Service makes him one of our Amazing Associates.

Bill Oakley

Bill Oakley started working for Morey’s Piers in March of 2005. Bill states that Morey’s good reputation, strong commitment to the community and his interest in learning about the inner workings of an amusement park are what brought him to the company. Bill currently works in Pier Operations as the Training Supervisor.  His duties include, but are not limited to, coordinating and facilitating Morey’s Piers Orientation program entitled “Moreyentation” as well as Morey’s Piers Universal Ride Operator Course, better known as UROC.  Bill also has been instrumental in developing our internal auditing program, our Associate In-service Program, and our Associate Focus Group.  The interaction with diverse people from different lifestyles and meeting new people everyday are what bring Bill back year after year. Keep up the great work Bill!  You are a huge asset to Morey’s Piers.

Angela Delong

Angela DeLong is entering her 10th season as a Ride Operator at Morey's Surfside Pier.  She has operated many rides throughout the years, some of which she has managed to outlast, including the RC-48, the Fun House, the Shlittenfart, and the Marina Bay.  However, Angela has spent the better part of the last 11 seasons as a Ride Operator and now Team Leader of the Great Nor'Easter roller coaster.  Angela began working for Morey's Piers after her father, who worked for the company as a carpenter, suggested that she put in an application.  Angela credits the fun atmosphere, incredible co-workers, and fabulous Guests as the reasons for her longevity with Morey's Piers.  Her dependability, dedication, and hard working nature combined with her outgoing personality, friendly disposition, and positive attitude make Angela an Amazing Associate of Morey's Piers.

Cissy Meyer

Cecelia Meyer has been a part of the Morey family for over 20 years.  She was originally hired as a receptionist, but has held various positions in our company including Wardrobe, Revenue Management, Administrative Assistant, and in now serving our Guests as Senior Supervisor in Guest Services.  Her bright smile and cheerful personality greets our Guests on a daily basis.  She is truly a team player and an asset to our company. Lori Beach

Lori Beach has been with Morey's Piers for more than 10 seasons. As an operator of the Seal Flume on our Mariner's Landing Pier, Lori has delighted thousands of children with her kind and gentle demeanor. Thanks for consistently doing such a great job!

Brian Polhamus

Brian Polhamus began his employment on Morey's Surfside Pier as a Ride Operator in September of 1992.  Growing up in the Wildwoods, working on the boardwalk just came naturally to Brian.  He began working on the Tilt-A-Whirl and has outlasted many rides including his favorite and most missed, the Fire Chief.  Brian has noted that the summer atmosphere, the Guests, the employees, and the park itself are what he enjoys most about working at Morey's Piers.  Seasonal employment at Morey's Piers has given Brian the opportunity to travel and he was recently able to spend the winter months in Lake Tahoe at a ski resort.  Brian's dedication, dependability, and friendly personality make him a huge asset to Morey's Piers.  Keep up the good work, Brian!

Tom Henofer

Tom Henofer began his tour of duty as a ride operator in 2003.  It was not long until Tom found his calling in Park Services.  With a creative mind, an unfaltering work ethic, and an eye for cleanliness, it is no wonder why he currently holds the position of Park Services Supervisor.  Besides working at a place he loves, Tom also found true love on the piers.  Tom and international associate Patrycja Ciupak, of Poland, were married on the Giant Wheel in 2006.  Congratulations Tom!

Edgardo Rodriguez


Edgardo Rodriguez started working for Morey’s Piers in 2006.  Since that time he has operated rides, worked on the Park Services crew, and is now a Team Leader with Park Services.  His attention to detail with every project that is placed in front of him, and his willingness to learn whatever he can, is why he has been selected as an Amazing Associate.  Every day he tackles each task with the determination to thoroughly complete it to the best of his ability.  As Edgardo works, he sets a good example for his fellow workers of what to do (and what not to do!) each day.  He leads his fellow coworkers, not only by his words, but by his actions and always takes the initiative to go the extra mile.  Edgardo is always willing to help anyone whenever he can and always has a smile for each person that passes him.  Congratulations Edgardo on a job well done and keep up the good work!

Kermy Torres

Kermy Torres began working for Morey's Piers in 2001 as a Ride Operator.  During that summer his primary ride, also the first ride he learned, was the Marina Bay located on Surfside Pier.  During Kermy's years with Morey's Piers, he has continued as a Ride Operator and Operations Supervisor.  During the winter months, Kermy is part of our Facilities Maintenance Department.  He never backs down from a task placed in front of him and he is continually striving to better himself and his position within the company.  His ability to take care of and prevent issues from occurring as well as handle some of the toughest situations is why he has been chosen as an Amazing Associate of Morey's Piers.

Kathy Moore

Kathy Moore has been working for Morey's Piers as a Trainer since 2005.  Originally from Philadelphia, Kathy moved to Cape May County in 2004 after spending many summers vacationing in the Wildwood area with her three children.  Kathy thought that working at Morey's Piers would be a fun place to work, and so after taking up residence in the Villas, she decided to apply for a position with the newly created Training and Development Division of the Operations Department.  Kathy loves the diversity that her job offers, from auditing, to ride training, to facilitating Moreyentation and In-Service classes.  When not working at Morey's Piers, Kathy is a substitute teacher for multiple school districts in Cape May County.  She enjoys interacting with young children, both in the classroom, as well as at Morey's Piers.  Kathy particularly enjoys watching the smiling and excited faces of the children while operating the Wacky Whip ride at Surfside Pier.  Kathy is an invaluable asset to the Morey's Piers Operations Team.  Her dedication and willingness to assist in any way possible is very much appreciated.  Great job, Kathy!

Geno Gales

Geno Gales is originally from Brooklyn, NY.  He met a girl in Brooklyn who was from Wildwood, married her and moved down to the Jersey Shore over thirty years ago.  Geno became a member of the Morey's Piers Organization as a ride operator for the Can Am Raceway in 1993 - although his favorite ride is the Sea Serpent.  Geno has been a staple of our go-cart team for the past 16 years.  He is an excellent team leader and all of our Can Am operators look to him for advice.  Geno's favorite thing about working at Morey's Piers is the opportunity to meet guests and associates from all over the world.  We would like to say "thank you" for a job well done Geno, and you truly embody everything that an Amazing Associate is.
