Operating Dates & Hours

We are open from late March through mid-October; however our main season (full time operation) extends from mid-June until mid-September. The amusement parks are normally open from noon until beyond midnight. The waterparks are open from the end of May until the beginning of September. Normal operating hours for the waterparks are 9am - 7pm. Scheduling varies and is flexible. Employees can expect to average around 40 hours per week with many averaging more during peak season.

Training

We provide a training program for all employees. Supervisors and interns will receive training focusing on safety and exceptional guest service as well as specific department and supervisory training.  Those working in Ride Operations will receive specific training on how to operate the attractions safely and efficiently. While those working in Aquatics will be provided with the proper lifeguard certification and training necessary to work at Raging Waters or Ocean Oasis Waterparks. Prerequisites for the lifeguard certification course include: 200 yard swim (4 laps in a standard sized pool) and retrieving a 10-pound brick from the bottom of the pool.
