The pay rate for most starting employees is $7.25 per hour. Many starting employees are also eligible for the Retention Bonus Program. Wages are paid on a weekly basis during the main season (June - Sept.) and are paid biweekly during pre and post season. Most employees will work an average of 35 hours per week, however, there may be opportunities to work more hours if you desire. Due to the fact that we are an industry for the public, overtime pay is not required or offered. Employees are paid the flat hourly rate regardless of the number of hours worked per week.
The Morey’s Piers Retention Bonus Program is offered to seasonal, front line employees. In order to be eligible, associates must work until their Commitment Date which must be at least September 3, 2012. Those associates eligible for the bonus will have the opportunity to earn up to $.25 per hour for each hour worked through their commitment date. The final bonus amount is based on individual work performance.
