Training the Undead for Morey’s FEARS Zombies, Ghouls and Ghosts Learn the Art of Acting Undead

September 14, 2012

The undead will walk the boards this October for Morey’s FEARS- Terror on the Boardwalk. To prepare for nine nights of terrorizing brave and unsuspecting guests, Morey’s Piers staff developed a training program that gives actors a cursed course in zombie behavior and Morey’s Piers standard operating procedures.

“The course is designed to educate all actors on our operational and safety procedures as well as bring out their inner zombies with stiff walking, vocal coaching and zombie character development with props and scaring techniques,” said Maggie Warner, Education Manager of the Reanimated.

Actors will transform into zombies by learning different scaring methods, dos and don’ts, participating in frightening role-playing games, practicing their grunting and moaning, and more.

Morey’s FEARS- Terror on the Boardwalk will infect Mariner’s Landing from 7pm-11pm on October 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 and 27. Morey’s FEARS is a general admission gated event and tickets are required.

Be warned: this event is NOT for the faint of heart (or children under 8). Guests are not permitted to wear masks, costumes and/or makeup to the event.
