Morey's unveils French-translated website to meet growing interest of French-Canadians
The Wildwoods, NJ – July 12, 2010 – At the encouragement of local tourism officials and area campground owners, and with an interest in better reaching the growing number of French-Canadian tourists, Morey’s Piers developed and launched a new French language version of its website, in conjunction with its online marketing partner, Dot Com Marketing.
“We saw the writing on the wall, and the language was French,” said Jack Morey. “Our campground friends put the idea to me, just as our marketing team was getting encouragement from our tourism authorities. So, we made special campground offers in French, and commissioned a new website in French. We were happy to do it, because we know that our seaside amusements translate well into any language.”
Working with its online marketing partner, Morey’s Piers confirmed that the largest international segment of website interest is coming from French-Canadians, and identified the 20 most trafficked web pages for careful translation by a team of French-Canadians.
“We wanted to get this site just right by speaking specifically to French-Canadians while capturing the full Morey experience,” says Dot Com founder, Hillary Bressler. “We are looking forward to getting feedback on the site from Morey’s French-Canadian guests.”
The new site can be found by clicking the French-Canadian flag on the top of the home page at www.moreyspiers.com.
