The Wild Half Mile

Morey’s Piers invites kids to get fit and participate in a “marathon for kids” on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 10:30 am.  The Wild Half Mile, a run for kids 12 and under, will begin at the Convention Center and follow one half mile of the Boardwalk ending at Mariner’s Landing Pier on Schellenger Avenue.

Online registration is now open.  The fee to register online is $20 per child and includes the following:

  • Participation in the Wild Half Mile race
  • Admission to BOTH Raging Waters and Ocean Oasis Waterparks on 7/27/13
  • Complimentary “animal” ears and tails for each runner
  • Face painting at the starting line
  • An official certificate of participation for each runner
  • Complimentary refreshments at the finish line on Mariner’s Landing

Last minute registration will be available at Wildwoods Convention Center from 9:00 to 10:00 am on Saturday, July 27.  The fee to register on race day is $25 per runner.

You must complete a waiver for each child you register, and bring the waiver to Race Check-In at the Convention Center on race day. Click here to download a race waiver.

Kids are encouraged to show their “wild side” by dressing in animal print and wearing animal ears, tails and noses. 

Discounted Passes for both waterparks will be available to Family and Friends as well. The fee will be the same, $20 between June 1 and July 24; $25 to purchase the day of the event.
