Morey's Piers Heading Graphic

We are committed to providing our guests with the safest, most enjoyable experience possible.

Morey’s Piers offers a huge selection of dynamic, thrilling rides and attractions. Please observe the guidelines for each ride and read all posted warnings before boarding. Many rides achieve extended heights. While rare, evacuations may be required due to mechanical issues, weather conditions, or power interruption. Evacuating may require you to step over and around objects, and walk down steep inclines.

Restrictions for guests of exceptional size, including height and weight, will be strictly enforced on all rides. You must be in good health to ride safely. Every guest has different capabilities and limitations, and every ride has associated risks. As such, certain individuals are at increased risk for injury from these rides. Only you know your physical condition and limitations. Please carefully evaluate each ride to determine if you or members of your party can safely participate.

If you believe your health could be at risk for any reason or you could aggravate a pre-existing condition, DO NOT RIDE!

Height and Other Rider Requirements
Most rides have height requirements that will be strictly enforced. Rider requirements, including height, age, and weight, are set by management, ride manufacturers, and state agencies. Other requirements, not included on this website, are posted at each ride. All requirements are subject to change.

Our attractions are designed by manufacturers to accommodate the "average" rider. Very large framed individuals may not be safely accommodated by some rides.

Operations
Ride and attraction operation may be temporarily suspended during inclement weather or for maintenance requirements. Rides will reopen as soon as safely possible after such events.

New Jersey State Law
STATE LAW requires that each rider MUST obey all written warnings and directions regarding each ride and refrain from behaving in a reckless manner that may contribute to injury of the rider or others. Failure to comply is a violation of law and subject to a penalty under the NEW JERSEY code of Criminal Justice. Violators are subject to fines up to $1,000 and up to 6 Months in JAIL.

Under NJACA 5.14A-9.34
The following people should not ride:

  • Those who are pregnant
  • Those with heart conditions
  • Those with serious back problems
  • Those subject to motion sickness
  • Those with other health problems that may make them more vulnerable to injury
  • Those under the influence of alcohol or drugs shall not ride any amusement device

Admission Policy
Morey’s Piers reserves the right to refuse admission to our facilities, any ride or attraction, and/or to anyone we feel presents a danger to themselves or others by being on the Piers or riding any particular ride. Questions about this policy may be brought to Guest Services. If needed, Operations Management will make a final decision on the issue based on individual circumstance.

Restraint Systems
All guest restraint systems must be used properly at all times by all riders. Restraint systems include seatbelts, lap bars, and shoulder harnesses. Restraint systems have been designed by ride manufacturers to accommodate the "average rider." As such, guests that are large framed, very tall, or have casts, braces, restrictive devices, or certain disabilities, may not be safely accommodated on some rides. Any guest that tampers with a restraint device will be subject to prosecution under New Jersey State Law. Violators are subject to fines up to $1,000 and up to 6 Months in JAIL.

Cameras
Because most rides require guests to hold on with both hands, and in order to prevent injury to yourself and others, Morey’s Piers does not permit taking pictures, filming, or videotaping while riding any ride except for the Giant Wheel, Sky Ships, and Balloon Race (provided the camera remains inside the ride vehicle at all times). Small cameras may be taken on all rides (except for all Roller Coasters, AtmosFEAR, Inverter, SkyCoaster, Spring Shot, Sky Ride, SkyScraper, Maelstrom, Wave Swinger, and Condor) provided that the camera is safely secured in a pocket or purse.

Loose Articles
For safety reasons, loose articles are not permitted on most rides. Examples include cameras, stuffed animals, purses, backpacks, umbrellas, soda bottles or cans, etc. Please ensure your glasses are secure. You are responsible for securing loose articles in a pocket, in a locker, or with a non-rider. Morey’s Piers and its staff can not hold or watch personal items, and will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Other Personal Articles
Morey's Piers does not permit the use of radios, tape players, laser pointers, scooters, remote   controlled vehicles, etc on our property. Bicycles are permitted until 11 AM.

All guests are strongly urged to wear shoes at all times while on the Piers.  Some rides have shoe type restrictions.

Weather Conditions
For the safety of our Guests and Associates, Morey’s Piers will close certain rides and attractions during inclement weather. Many rides will remain open during a very light rain. Depending on the intensity of rain and wind, some or all rides may close until the weather passes. Lightning will also cause high rides and roller coasters to close as the storm draws near. Morey’s Piers will reopen rides as soon as safely possible. As such, we do not offer refunds or rain checks.

Appropriate Dress
For your safety, it is strongly suggested that shoes be worn at all times while at the Piers. Morey’s Piers is a family destination. As such, clothing with profanity, illegal substances, and other suggestive or offensive material is prohibited. Proper swimwear must be worn at all times while visiting our Waterparks. Please ensure that your swimsuit is free of buttons, zippers, or snaps that could be abrasive to other swimmers or yourself. Swim diapers are required of all children under 3 years of age. Some amusement rides require that shirts be worn while riding.

Appropriate Behavior
Morey’s Piers is a family destination. As such, radios, tape players, roller blades, scooters, skateboards, etc are not permitted on Morey’s Piers property at any time. Bicycles are only permitted before 10 AM. Morey’s Piers reserves the right to remove from the premises, without refund, any individual that prevents others from enjoying our Piers.

Smoking
Morey's Piers and Beachfront Waterparks is a no-smoking facility. Each Pier does offer designated smoking areas. See our map or Guest Services for details.

Alcoholic Beverages
Outside alcoholic beverages (open or closed containers) are prohibited on any Morey's Piers property. In addition, it is illegal to carry or consume alcoholic beverages on Wildwood's Boardwalk. Guests found to be impaired by alcohol or other substance will not be permitted to ride any attraction, and will be removed from the Piers and Waterparks without refund. It is a violation of New Jersey state law to ride any ride or attraction while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and may result in prosecution.

Security
We reserve the right to inspect all persons and articles that enter any Morey’s Piers property. Any guest who may jeopardize their own or another’s safety, will not obey the rules and regulations of a ride, or are giving the indication of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, will be required to leave the premises. In addition, for the safety of our guests, Morey’s Piers conducts continuous audio and video surveillance of our facilities.

All riders are subject to height, weight, and age restrictions.

Children must be supervised by adults at all times.
