WHERE IS WILDWOOD.

Wildwood is located at the southern-most tip of New Jersey and is actually a barrier island renowned for its sparkling white, expansive beach. The Wildwoods compromise three municipalities: North Wildwood, Wildwood, and Wildwood Crest. During the off season The Wildwoods have a population of approximately 15,000; in the summer that number increases to almost 500,000. Wildwood New Jersey is conveniently located and is close to many other large cities:

  • 3.0 hours South of New York City, New York
  • 1.5 hours Southeast of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  • 3.5 hours East of Washington, D.C.
  • 3.0 hours East of Baltimore, Maryland
  • 45 minutes South of Atlantic City
  • 1.5 hours North of Delaware Outlet Shopping (tax-free)

Once you arrive you will find that it is easy to get around. Everything you will need is within walking distance of your accommodations and work (grocery stores, laundry facilities, restaurants, shopping, nightlife and clubs.) The only time you will need to use public transportation is when you travel outside of Wildwood. There are lots of activities in the Wildwood Boardwalk and the surrounding area including: fishing, sailing, water skiing, boogie boarding, surfing, jet skiing, volleyball, tennis, basketball, golf, biking, whale and dolphin watching, etc. Shopping is available as well as sight-seeing in historic, Victorian Cape May.
