Restraint Systems:

All guest restraint systems must be used properly at all times by all riders. Guests that are large-framed, very tall, or have casts, braces, restrictive devices, or certain disabilities, may not be safely accommodated on some rides. Any guest that tampers with a restraint device will be subject to prosecution under New Jersey State Law. Violators are subject to fines up to $1,000 and up to 6 months in jail.

Cameras:

Morey’s Piers does not permit taking pictures, filming, or videotaping while riding any ride EXCEPT for The Giant Wheel, Flying Galleon, and Balloon Race. Small cameras must be safely secured in a pocket or purse. Guests may not take cameras on roller coasters or X-treme rides.

Loose Articles:

Unless otherwise stipulated, loose articles are not permitted on any ride for your safety and the safety of those around you.  All loose articles should be left with a non-rider or stored in a locker.  There is loose article storage available on some ride platforms. Still, Morey’s Piers Associates will not be able to watch your articles and cannot be responsible for any articles left behind.  Loose articles, other than hats and shoes,  may not be taken past the queue entrance and cannot be left on the load/unload platform of the Great Nor’Easter.  Time-limited free lockers are available for your use when riding the Great Nor’Easter.

Other Personal Articles:

Morey's Piers does not permit the use of radios, tape players, laser pointers, scooters, remote-controlled vehicles, etc., on our property. Bicycles are permitted until 11 am.

Appropriate Dress:

For your safety, it is strongly suggested that shoes be worn at all times while at the Piers - some rides have shoe type restrictions. Some amusement rides require that shirts be worn while riding. Clothing with profanity, illegal substances, and other suggestive or offensive material is prohibited.

Appropriate Behavior:

Morey’s Piers is a family destination. We, therefore, reserve the right to remove from the premises, without refund, any individual that prevents others from enjoying our Piers.

Smoking:

Morey's Piers and Beachfront Waterparks is a non-smoking facility.

First Aid Stations:

First Aid Stations are located at all three piers and are equipped to handle minor first aid situations.

Alcoholic Beverages:

Outside alcoholic beverages (open or closed containers) are prohibited on any Morey's Piers property. Also, it is illegal to carry or consume alcoholic beverages on Wildwood's Boardwalk. Guests found to be impaired by alcohol or other substances will be removed from the Piers and Waterparks without refund and may result in prosecution.

Weather:

Ride and attraction operation may be temporarily suspended during inclement weather or for maintenance requirements. Rides will reopen as soon as safely possible after such events. As such, we do not offer refunds or rainchecks.

Water Park Policies

Raging Waters and Ocean Oasis Beach Club both provide refreshing fun and tons of activities. We are committed to providing our guests with the safest, most enjoyable experience possible. Please observe the following guidelines for our waterparks.

General Admission:

Both of our beachfront waterparks are gated and are general admission facilities, all guests entering must pay an admission fee.  We do not offer “spectator” admission. All waterpark guests MUST wear the appropriate waterpark wristband at all times. As payment, we accept cash, traveler's checks, and major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, and Discover).  Sorry, we do not accept personal checks.

Physical Requirements:

Our waterparks are participatory waterparks with physically demanding activities.  It is your responsibility to know all instructions and your own limitations, physical capabilities, and swimming skills before participating. If you are of a “non-athletic” nature or overweight for your body type, use caution when choosing which activities to participate in.

Lifeguards and First Aid:

Over 100 award-winning trained and licensed Lifeguards are stationed throughout the park for proper ride dispatching and guest assistance in pools. They are all here for your safety and service.  First Aid Stations are located at both waterparks and are equipped to handle minor care emergencies.

Personal Articles:

Glass containers, alcoholic beverages, grills, pets, snorkels, and diving equipment are not allowed. We reserve the right to perform a physical inspection of any guest or item(s) entering or exiting the park at any time.  All bags are subject to search.

Appropriate Dress:

Raging Waters and Ocean Oasis are family-orientated waterparks.  Appropriate swimwear MUST be worn at all times.  No “thong” swimwear or any offensive or suggestive clothing is permitted. All shoes, including water shoes, are not permitted on any slide.

Appropriate Behavior:

Exercise extreme caution when walking from place to place. No running at any time!  Obey Lifeguard and Staff instructions, and observe all instructional signs and recordings at all times. Failure to follow all written and verbal rules can result in serious injury to yourself or others. Violation of rules will result in immediate ejection from the park without refund.

Height Restrictions:

At Raging Waters and Ocean Oasis Waterparks, most attractions have no minimum height requirements. For the WipeOut Racer Slide at Ocean Oasis, all guests must be at least 42" tall to ride.

No Smoking:

Since the majority of our waterpark guests are barefoot, both water parks are designated as non-smoking areas.

Life Jackets:

We strongly recommend small children and non-swimmers wear a lifejacket and are accompanied by a swimming adult. Both beachfront waterparks have life jackets for guest use at no charge (first come, first serve).  They're located throughout the parks in silver bins- please see any staff member for assistance. Personal flotation devices are subject to approval by waterpark safety staff.

Diapered Infants:

For the safety and comfort of all of our guests, diapers are not permitted in any pool.   All babies and toddlers under the age of 3 must wear approved swim diapers when entering any pool or attraction.  The changing of diapers is not permitted in pool and deck areas- changing stations are located in restrooms.  Approved waterproof swim diapers are available for purchase at the time of admission or any waterpark Guest Services.

Locker Rentals:

Please use our lockers for all of your personal items, as we do not take responsibility for the loss of any of your valuables.  Lockers are available at both waterparks for a nominal fee.

Weather:

In the event of inclement weather, our waterparks will remain open unless there is severe weather in the area (lightning, high winds, etc.). Rides and attractions will reopen as soon as the lightning leaves the area. No refunds or rain checks are issued in the event of severe weather.

Wild Pass Holders

Wild Passes are non-transferable and can only be used for the person they were purchased for. Violation of this policy will result in your pass being suspended or revoked without notice. Morey's Piers is not responsible for lost or stolen passes. The purchase and use of this pass is subject to all the rules, terms, and conditions in the "Official Guide to Amusement Piers & Beachfront Water Parks". All riders are subject to height, weight, and age restrictions. All accidents or injuries must be reported in accordance with posted instructions. All claims of any kind, including claims for personal injury, may only be brought in the courts of Cape May County, NJ. Morey's Piers reserves the right to revoke a pass without refund at our sole discretion.
