MOREY’S PIERS SERVES UP NEW SUMMER TREATS AND BOARDWALK EATS

Visitors Can Enter to Win a Secret Garden Dinner Giveaway

The Wildwoods, NJ – July 10, 2019 - Morey’s Piers, celebrating 50 years on the piers in Wildwood, NJ, is serving up a variety of new boardwalk eats. Hungry pier-goers can feast on 50th anniversary treats, sip on the “Mother of All Bloody Mary’s,” or plan a celebration with new group dining menus at various restaurants.

New this summer, Joe’s Fish Co., Stubborn Brother’s, Jumbo’s Grub & Pub and PigDog Beach Bar + BQ are offering group dining options for birthdays, family reunions, anniversaries and other occasions. Morey’s Piers can accommodate groups large and small for events ranging from pizza parties at Jumbo’s, cocktail receptions at PigDog Beach Bar and intimate dinners at the newly renovated Secret Garden on the rooftop at Joe’s Fish. Co. 

The new canopy-covered Secret Garden located on the rooftop of Joe’s Fish Co. seats parties of up to 12 guests and features panoramic views of both Surfside Pier and the boardwalk. Executive Chef Betsy Garr will work with each group to create unique, customized dining experiences that incorporate locally sourced ingredients exclusively for the rooftop eatery. The menu format will includea welcome drink followed by a four course meal. In honor of the new dining location and 50thanniversary, Morey’s Piers is giving away one free group dining experience to someone who is also celebrating a special occasion this summer. The Mother of All Bloody Mary’sAt PigDog Beach Bar: Designed to satisfy the hungriest and thirstiest beach goers, the 32oz pitcher of house made spicy Bloody Mary is flavored with Deep Eddy’s vodka and topped with Bar BQ brisket, pickled shrimp, chicken tenders, chicken wings, pigs in a blanket, french fries, cheese cubes, olives, cucumbers, celery, and tomatoes. Click here to see one in the making. 

Curley’s Fries House-Made Sauce of the Week: Each week a new, freshly made specialty flavor is announced via social media and available at Curley’s Fry stands.

Deep Fried Moon Pies:This Southern favorite receives a boardwalk twist available at La Bakerie, Serpent Sweets, and Sugar Shack locations. 

Jumbo’s Grub & Pub: New menu items include Ohio Style Nachos, The Mighty Green Burger featuring a plant-based Beyond Meat Burger, and an expanded line of beer cocktails. 

Joe’s Fish Co.:Added this summer is a featured rotating fish entrée based on availability and freshness. In addition, Joe’s offers homemade ranch baked pretzels as a bar snack. There’s also a late-night bar menu from 9:30pm to close at the rooftop bar featuring a variety of shareable plates, red or white Sangria, and Cape May Brewing Co.16oz drafts for $6. 

New at Concessions: Wilhelm’s now has a rotisserie style chicken; LaBakerie is serving-up new frozen nitro coffee drinks available in five flavors including: regular, Irish Cream, Mocha, French Vanilla and Caramel. Locally sourced from Cape May County, Gaiss’ award winning sausage griller made with hickory smoked fresh pork product stuffed with jalapeño cheddar cheese, is on the menu at Wilhelm’s and PigDog. Morey’s Piers signature 50thanniversarySalted Caramel PiertzelDippin’ Dots flavor is sold at all locations on the boardwalk. 

Wild Wooder: The newest release from Cape May Brewing Co.was brewed to commemorate 50 years of Morey’s Piers and will be served at their restaurants this summer. The light-bodied, hoppy Kölsch has an approachable yet deceptively intriguing flavor profile with notes of straw and hay, a fresh, subtle bitterness, and unparalleled drinkability. Using traditional brewing practices, the German-style Ale features simple ingredients and a light fermentation profile. Wild Wooder is clean, classic and ideal for sipping all summer long at Morey’s Piers.
