About

Adventure Pier embarks on a new artistic journey this summer with the introduction of [artBOX], a 10,000 square foot interactive artists' colony.  Visual and musical arts come together with the traditional loud, upbeat boardwalk way of life.  Made up of 11 brightly colored re-purposed shipping containers, [artBOX] boasts artists-in-residence crafting unique works of art and features 5 artist studios, Tokyo 4B [the ART of Sushi] and the Exit Zero Museum Shop all in a 10,000 square foot space.

Guests can observe handpicked regional artists at work in their retooled containers, and browse the paintings and handmade crafts inclduing; surf art, glass blowing, artisanal jewelry, speed painting and more. Guests will enjoy live, nightly musical performances by the School of Rock, a performance program featuring bands of regional young musicians playing a variety of music genres.

[artBOX] also includes the Exit Zero Museum Shop, showcasing quirky amusement artifacts, nostalgic memorabilia and an eclectic array of retail merchandise. Hungry? Visit Tokyo 4B [the ART of sushi] for the freshest sushi while dining al fresco.
