The Art of FUN!

It’s hard to imagine what Raging Waters and Ocean Oasis will look like for the 2012 season with dust and bulldozers everywhere. To help inspire our engineers and architects, Jack commissioned Neal McPheeters, an accomplished local painter, to create high quality painted renderings of our two new waterpark attractions.

McPheeters has contributed illustrations for books published by DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Scholastic Books, The Children’s Television Workshop, Warren Publishers and numerous other publishers and hundreds of book titles. We’re thrilled that he accepted this challenging project and even more delighted with the finished paintings.

Look for these gorgeous works of art in our 2012 General Brochure (click to enlarge them!). They’re so pretty, you might want to frame the brochure!

So glad The Wipeout will still be alive in an updated version!  I remember when it first opened!  It looks like there will be no burlap burns from this new incarnation!!  The River Adventure looks cool too.  Thanks to you guys for all you do to keep our town alive and well!!

Looks like a fun attraction. How deep is the water at the bottom of Wipeout? Just wondering if younger and shorter kids will be able to go on it if there swimming skills aren’t that strong yet.  I’m sure the older kids will have a blast.

Is wipeout the same as the old slide with water added or is it a totally new ride?

Jack,

Thank you for saving the name.  I rode this when it first opened and I was just a boy.  Very nice.
